Māori and Pacific men affected by physical and sexual abuse often have tried unsuccessfully to be heard. Sometimes, they can hurt others and often hurt themselves in finding a way forward. Hearing similar stories of hurt can provide validation that you are not alone and demonstrate that personal resilience is possible.
